Description Mode

Nominal measurement scale, Ordinal, Interval and Ratio would be useless if we do not correct the description mode. Often we are faced with a number of major problems in the form of statistical data into a concise and compact presentation. Although the numerical size of the location and variety is clearly a useful description, but the size was not able to identify all important characteristics. Further information can be re-obtained if some data are summarized in tables, charts, and graphs as appropriate. Described the way that is as follows:

Frequency Distribution is an important feature of a number of data that can be immediately identified by grouping the data into several classes to then calculated in table form. The main thing to do in create table is a set number of classes that we will take. Where is the fewer number of data, the less the number of classes taken. Since the number of classes that are too small will discard or destroy too much information.

Steps to create a frequency distribution for a large cluster of data can be summarized as follows:
1. Determining the number of class intervals needed
2. Specifies the data area
3. Divide the area by the number of classes to estimate the hose width
4. Determining the limit under the class for the first interval and then the lower limit class
5. List all class limits and class boundaries by adding the class width limit and the limit interval before
6. Determining the class midpoint for each interval with a class limit evenly flatten
7. Determining the frequency of each class
8. summing the frequency and check the result by the number of total observations
