Definition of Sample Space

Percentile, deciles and quartile is part of a way of describing data. But in science we Statistics are not only expected to describe the data, but we also need to understand the ins and outs of Statistics. And the things that we discus today is about space in science example entry Opportunities in Statistical Science. The Definition of Sample Space itself is the set of all possible results of an experiment.

In the statistics we often use the term experiment for any process that generates the data. Experiments can be a toss of a coin, whereas in the experiment there are only two possibilities that arise are heads or tails. In many cases, the results are the experiment depends on the fact coincidence. Therefore it can not serve targeted predicted with certainty.

If a scientific analysis repeated with the same conditions but the results still differ, then it shows the existence of chance. However, we can find out all the possible results of each experiment. Every possible outcome of an experiment called elements or members of the Sample Room. If the number of elements of the finite sample space, we can separate these elements by commas. But if the elements are infinite, it would be better if we make a diagram that is shaped like a tree called the Tree diagram so that more detailed and systematic.
